It's been a couple of stressful weeks, with a week and a half full of assignments and last minute work things to get done before the semester is over. I've gotten a few marks back and I'm not too happy with the way that I've done. It seems that I put a ton of work in and get only a few things in return. Last semester I was putting the same work in, and getting solid marks. Now it seems that work isn't cutting it anymore. Which doesn't make sense.

I need to grind out a Mammalogy paper and a fisheries management lab for next week. On top of that two advanced ecology papers with questions before I can finally say I'm done my time at Trent.

Growth

Things have been coming up lately. I'm scrambling with school, applying to jobs and ended up getting a response from one out in BC. A place I've wanted to go for a long time, and this would be the perfect opportunity to make that a reality. A friend of mine still told me to keep in mind to wait a few weeks at least to see what else comes out of FSWEP, and that's what I'll be doing.
I've seen some cool things happen in my life over the past month.

I got my graduation photos done, and although I have two more months left, it was the first time things really sunk in that the 5 years I've been in school are coming to a close.
I hung out with a girl, who brings out a really cool part of me that hasn't really happened before. It was a great time and I get to see her this weekend again, which is awesome.

Checking out a new place in Lindsay the next weekend to see if living with my best friend is something I can get into. Hopefully the reviews on the place so far are good.

Another year of college and then I'm done school for good. I'm hoping a field job this summer solidifies me in the field as a good catch and I can just build off of that and keep moving forward.

I've been writing a bit lately, finding myself trying to get things out that I used to when I was playing with my friends. Playing shows was the coolest thing I've ever done, it made me so happy to just play crappy shows with my friends to new people.  I'm really hoping that something gets started up when I move to Lindsay

The most beautiful song.

Currently listening to the dangerous summer, finished a wicked dinner and just being alone for a bit this weekend. I've come to the conclusion I enjoy being on my own, it helps me put things into perspective and lets me think things through really well.

For example, where I'm going with my life, who I want involved in my life and just how I'm going to go about it.

Listen to the Dangerous summer.

One of the best EP's to come out in 2012. Although it was late, December to be exact and definitely passed over by most people, The riffs alone on the album keep me hooked the whole time.

I'll be jamming this and the new soul search at the gym today.

Easiest way to keep my thoughts rolling.

I'm back using blogspot, I figure its an easier way to get my thoughts out, and not have a million people read through them. Also, it keeps my ego at bay as to how many people read how I feel or what's going on with me. I've been feeling better recently, getting out more and hanging with friends more as school is a bit quieter this week. Lost my granddad last week which brought me back home to Burlington for a few days. Hopefully that brings me and my Dad together. We'll see. No girls in my life, unless you count the squat rack, then we see each other 4 times a week, for about an hour. Chin up and feet on the ground. No facebook, no twitter. Nothing to keep me from wanting attention or talking to people that really don't want to be involved in my life.
